Tinder’s ‘Swipe Night’ Set to Launch Later This Month

All You Need To Know About The Swipe Night Experience

Tinder Swipe Night is an online and interactive experience that serves as a story-led way to meet new people. Having first launched in the U.S. last October, the experience is finally going global from September 12th. The dating app announced this week that it would be available in Asia and other international markets, giving users another way to connect, as we all continue to stay home due to COVID.

“While the global health crisis continues, we believe Swipe Night can bring a welcome change of pace to our members around the world,” said Jim Lanzone, CEO of Tinder.

Similar to other interactive entertainment like Netflix’s “Black Mirror: Bandersnatch”, viewers will be presented with a “choose-your-own-adventure” narrative. However, swiping won’t just affect how the story ends; it will also have a bearing on who users match with and what they can end up talking about.
