WhatsApp Rumoured To Be Introducing Emoji Reactions To Its Messenger App
WABetainfo – WhatsApp news for iOS, Android and Windows – has revealed that WhatsApp is developing emoji “reactions” for its messenger app.
This feature, now integral to Facebook Messenger, provides an easy way to acknowledge messages – a quick tap, in place of formulating a written response. What’s more, 93% of communication is non-verbal; these little emojis have the magic touch when it comes to efficiently conveying facial expressions and emotions, often difficult to translate into words.

More details:
⢠You can react to a message multiple times with different emojis.
⢠The process to send a reaction is end-to-end encrypted, so nobody outside the chat can see your reactions.
⢠You can react to messages in individual chats as well. https://t.co/mJwPL44xvK— WABetaInfo (@WABetaInfo) September 4, 2021
WABetaInfo says this feature is being tested for iOS and Android devices – stay tuned, as these emoji reactions could pop up in your chats at any time.
